Wow.
It’s been 6 months since I launched Three Little Birds Travel Agency and. . . it.has.been.fun.
I stepped into this with expectation, faith and a whole lot of excitement, and I’m so grateful to say it’s been met with consistent inquiries, beautiful trips and the sweetest clients to dream alongside.
So far, I’ve helped plan trips to Punta Cana, Costa Rica, Tulum, Hawaii, Florida and Oregon. . . and I’m currently working on a ranch-style incentive trip for 2027 (so fun, BTW!). I’ve also had the opportunity to create itineraries for the Meet Me in the Water ministry, which has been especially meaningful to be a part of.
There is just so much to see out there.
And truly, one of my favorite parts of this work is getting that first message. . . the “we want to go somewhere, but we’re not sure where” message.
From there, I get to step in, learn what my clients love, what they need, what they’re dreaming about and help narrow it down into something that feels just right.
Then comes the planning, the details, the itinerary building, the dreaming and finally watching it all come together!
I love it.
I love searching out places.
I love building out a vision.
I love sending over a dreamy itinerary that makes you feel like your trip has already begun.
Sometimes I get so excited I have to remind myself. . . I’m not the one going on the trip.
But I’ll be just as excited for you, I promise.
Along the way, I’ve also learned so much from the travel agent community. Truly some of the most helpful, knowledgeable people who are always willing to lend a hand when you need it.
And one question I get a lot is this: Why would I use a travel agent?
And honestly. . . it’s such a good question, especially in today’s world.
Because yes, you can plan your own trip.
In the same way you can do your own hair.
It’s doable.
But there’s something different about working with someone who knows the ins and outs. . . someone who can guide you, simplify things and help you avoid the overwhelm.
Because let’s be honest, the internet is loud.
There are endless options, endless reviews, endless opinions. . . and now with A.I. in the mix, it can be hard to know what’s real, what’s reliable and what’s actually right for you.
So many people spend hours upon hours researching. . . only to still feel unsure when it’s time to book.
That’s where I come in.
I help quiet the noise.
I help take all of those options and narrow them down into something that actually fits your vision, your budget and your experience.
And another thing most people don’t realize. . . as a travel agent, I have access to trusted suppliers that the general public doesn’t.
These are partners who carefully vet the hotels and experiences they offer, which means we’re not sorting through everything. . . we’re focusing on what’s already been filtered for quality and reliability.
It’s a completely different starting point.
Working with a travel agent isn’t just about booking a trip.
It’s about having someone in your corner from the very beginning. . . someone who listens, guides, organizes and walks with you through the entire process.
